There are many salmon flies available to the salmon fisherman. Salmon flies come with single hooks, double hooks and treble hooks. However check which salmon flies are relevant to your fishery, some fisheries do not permit treble salmon flies.

Another alternative to the standard salmon flies tied directly to hooks is the pot bellied pig, nylon tube and copper tube flies. These are tube salmon flies through which you thread your line and ties a hook to the end.
